Hi guys

It has come to my attention that some dj's maybe interested in this offer.

I wanted to ask anyone who is a dj to put their name forward if you're interested.

It will involve more than one dj, and there is no max no. of dj's who can participate.

Everyone who would like to participate can participate at this point.

Nothing else has been discussed as at now. At the moment I'm just looking if anyone is interested in this offer.

It would be a great opportunity to showcase your dj skills and seek out new potential listeners.

Not only that but you have the chance to collabo with many other dj's, listen to what they come and learn new things about this game! Most of all, get your music heard!

Everyone who is interested I will keep all posted on the latest. Chance to make a compilation guys.

If you're a dj and is interested, email me on dj-wat@hotmail.com

Thank you all

Announcement - Update

I need your help. Here's your chance to get involved in the process.

I'm currently compiling a new non stop island mixtape and I'm in need of more good island songs. Anyone who would like to see a song in my new edition can do so by uploading the song onto somewhere on the web and send the download link to dj-wat@hotmail.com. All those who contribute will receive the end product once I complete it.

Thanks in advance.

Announcement - Update

Just to let everyone know that my VIP section is now up and running.
http://dj-wat-vip-lounge.blogspot.com/

If you're a dj, here is an opportunity to share your works with other dj's. Get feedback from other dj's but most of all share what you want to share with your fellow colleagues. Note: it is a lounge created exclusively for dj's. Therefore you must show me some evidence upon joining that you're a dj.

Please adhere to all the rules upon your arrival.

Cheers all.

Announcement - Update

To all the users of this site,

I was planning on putting up a pack of my old mixes to celebrate the 1000th download mark being reached. That came and went and I forgot all about what I had in mind. Check back tomorrow or in two days time and I should have this up for all to download.

Thanks for supporting my blog everyone. Without you, this place wouldn't have been what it is now. Cheers.

Have a good and safe weekend.

Announcement - Chat Queries

More Mirror uploads requested.

Reason: I don't do this because this is how I control traffic to my site. If I was to post mirrors on hosts where you could just take loads of content off this site within a day, are you likely to come back tomorrow knowing you got everything to date? Highly unlikely, this is how I retain visitors here by controlling the amount of download they do per day unless you're a premium account holder of hotfile. This way, it makes a user down some today, and come back tomorrow and down some more.

Why hotfile?

Hotfile allows FTP uploads, if you don't know what that is, google is your best friend. FTP allows transfers via FTP unlike rapidshare, megaupload and a few other big ones. These hosts don't support FTP uploads because they have their own uploading softwares like mega manager for megaupload, rapidshare has its own, mediafire don't support FTP, Their upload softwares offer slower uploading speeds than browser uploading speeds - I've tested all of them out. Multiupload is the best solution to mirror, problem is I can't hook up my accounts to it so that all the downloads from different mirrors are counted regardless of what host you used to down the files. Popular hosts such as rapidshare allows remote uploads, however at the moment I can't do this because you need a be a premium member to use this service.

Another reason why FTP is great, FTP uploading rates are 2x - 7x faster than upping via a internet browser. Try it for yourself if you havent already done so. You'd be amazed, no more slow uploading speeds. Good piece of software to have. If you want a free edition, I recommnend Filezilla, I'm an ex user of that one so from experience, I can say that - filezilla is user friendly, very easy to get the hang of and operate it. If you want a more complicated solution as I now have, try FlashFXP. Downside to that one is that it costs money.

Music or Movies..

I wish to continue with both because my movie downloads are worth far more to me compared to music downloads just because of their sheer size. Therefore, I can't abandon it completely but I'll make sure from now on, the percentage of music share is higher than that of movie shares.

If you have more questions or queries, leave them in chat, I will answer them like this and I hope these answers will help you understand why I do things the way I do.

Hope you all understand. Thanks for reading this update.

Announcement - Update

Just a bit of an update guys, please don't share the links on this site with any other site on the web. This is exactly how you end up having dead links. Please, if you would like to share something with your friends from here, don't copy the links and post them elsewhere. What you can do is share it with them via mail or any other way of sharing where sharing only involves 2 people, 1 giving it to the other. Alternatively, you could invite your friends overhere and get them to download the content here themselves. This is how you keep the links live for longer periods of time. If you would like to help others who also use this blog, you can start by not copying the links. Posting these elsewhere increases the chances of the links being deleted.

This issue arose because Klr Crew - Beatshaker Vol 1 is down. I am not accusing if any are sharing the links, just making all of you aware of the situation for the future in case some were thinking along these lines of sharing links anywhere else on the web.

This is exactly why I encrypt links. e.g. Date Nite Part 1
As you can see when you clicked on that link, if you have a look at the URL address bar, this is what you see: http://kwcsrx.link-protector.com/ and not the actual hotfile url of the file. Note: you can still get the original link  if you know how to - I am not going to say how, but it creates more work for those in authority who are trying to get these links deleted through copyright infringement. I also deliberately tweak actual rar names of contents when I rar it so to avoid being searched out by those different host search engines.
This is why I also password protect all loads so even if they did download it, there is no way of telling if the content is infringing for sure if they can't unlock the content. They can try to brute force attack the password via softwares specifically made for this purpose, problem is, I made the password pretty long. Therefore, it will take these softwares probably days to months to go through billions of combinations of letters, numbers and special characters in order to find the right combination.
This is why I also post up loads initialling them all to fool blogger bots which are designed to hunt out copyright infringing content and let you know you must take these down or else they would.

Lately, I've been relaxing these standards because things were running smoothly.
However, in saying that, you would override all these procedures I've put in place when you start sharing them elsewhere along with passwords. So long as some sort of authority is on to this blog, expect download links to start dying off left right and centre.

This is why I'm against sharing things here elsewhere in order to keep the links here live for all others to down and not just for you only.

At the moment I have no wish to going back to making this blog a view per subscription only blog like my vip section but I would have to if links are going down left right and centre. I wish not to go there but I would have to if this happens.

On a more cool note: if ever you got something you'd want to share, inbox it to me and I will post it up for others to download.

Announcement - Update

Starting next month, this place will no longer be what it is now. Meaning, I will load up some content but it will not going to be as much as I am loading up now so get in while you can. My data cab is reverting back to old days data cabs, far too small a data cab to be supporting what I do here. Therefore, far less music and no more movie upload for all.

Sorry peepz, but you guys can still help me out if you guys got some sort of links etc... I can post them up. Thats all for now.

Announcement - Sell Music Online

If you make your own music and you would like to sell it online please contact me - dj-wat@hotmail.com. I am currently setting up a place for this purpose but I will need your support on this matter. We can discuss this more in detail via email if you're interested. These can also be just plain instrumentals.

Remember, these must come with covers and so on plus the songs must be of no lower than 192kbps.

Looking foward to hearing from those parties who are interested in this offer. Great chance to get your music out there at low costs.

Thanks readers.

Announcement - Password

To all users,

If you have files that were downloaded from here in which are yet to be extracted because it asks for a password and you don't know what the password is, the password can be found on the right-most column of my site under the section PASSWORD. Don't just delete the files because you don't know the password.

The password to all the downloads of this blog should all be the same;

Password: dj-wat.blogspot.com

If you find that even this password is incorrect, try typing it manually. Sometimes you may have accidentally copied a space too long in the beginning or the end with the password. However, other times, the password I've put on a load is genuinely bad! It is important that you let me know of this kinda problem asap so I can fix it. Make some noise on the chat about it or mail me at dj-wat@hotmail.com

Don't forget to follow my blog everyone so you can get live updates when I post up new stuff here. How to follow? You need a gmail account. Sign up via the FOLLOW section. Again, find this section in the right most column of me site.

Thanks all

Latest Update

To all firefox and chrome users.

Recently I was made aware by a user about this site of mine not running properly on firefox, chrome and possibly explorer. Don't panic, I guarantee you its not your computer thats playing tricks with you. It is entirely my fault, I did a few tweaks of the html code and forgot to check it if they still ran good for the most commonly used browsers. I was not aware of it because I assumed everything was running great since it was running flawlessly under the current browser I'm using. Just to let everyone know I am sorry for the inconvenience I've caused and I wish it will not be repeated anytime soon however, human error can not be got rid off completely. Since its entirely my fault, I promise I will be loading up a mixed dj album and some movies for all to download. Free ofcourse. Next time if anything like this happens, please don't hesitate to contact me on dj-wat@hotmail.com. I don't bite but am keen on resolving your problems asap.

Thanks for your understanding. By the way, subscribe to my youtube channel, join my reverbnation, invite your friends over to this site and make sure to follow this site. You will find the best of the best in music here, and ofcourse movie links that are live and not deleted since I've gone to great efforts in protecting them from deletion.

New Interface

Sorry guys had to change to a new interface. There may be a few things that are out of place at this stage due to this but expect things to return to normal in due time. When I have the time I will write up a new personalised webpage design for this page. Until then, we will have to settle on this one. There's a bug when you click on a post, the page header balloons out to megasize. Not that kinda bug as in a virus lol, thats not the bug I'm refering to in this instance. So don't get all worried. It has nothing to do with you, but am raising it because you guys might all mail me and say what I already know. Its an admin problem, would be fixed as soon as I find the bug.

Thanks all. and don't forget to invite your friends over to this awesome resource of mine. In addition, don't forget to subscribe to my youtube channel too. You can find that bit of info on your top left hand side when you navigate this page.
